Scalable security for SMBs and Enterprises
Norman Endpoint Protection is specially developed to meet the security needs from small businesses requiring a comprehensive and straight forward solution to install, deploy and manage. The scalability with NPRO is developed with the enterprises’ needs for securing their complex environments in mind. Customizable adjustments and tuning capabilities in NPRO enables the administrator to trigger important and necessary warnings and alarms from NPRO to 3rd party management systems.

Norman Endpoint Manager
| Norman Endpoint Protection includes the powerful, yet easy to use, management tool Norman Endpoint Manager. This web based graphical application monitors and configures NPRO clients, and performs administrative tasks, such as managing clients, policies, settings etc. The clients are equipped with “sniffer” discovery technology, detecting and reporting all IP devices in the network. With Norman Endpoint Manager, the IT administrator can deploy Norman Endpoint Protection clients to laptops, workstations, and servers and with the built-in policy tool keep the desired security state in groups of clients. |

Security health status at a glance

Norman Endpoint Manager provides a dynamic security level indicator and a current status window, giving the IT administrator instant information about the security state of the network. Any malware incidents, outdated clients or system warnings will change the indicator and report detailed incident information through status views, messaging and alarm modules. The system allows for integration with other management tools as an advanced Message Handling System (MHS) takes care of sending alerts and incidents to other management systems via email, SNMP, SMS, Syslog or Eventlog. The risk level bar and status view module present the network’s security health status at a glance. Adjustment and tuning capabilities enable the administrator to trigger important and necessary warnings and alarms.
Policy based engine
Norman Endpoint Manager’s powerful policy based engine makes it easy to deploy endpoints throughout the customer’s infrastructure. A built-in policy tool lets the administrator keep the desired security state in groups of clients at all times.
Built for high performance and low system footprint
Norman Endpoint Protection is designed for high performance with a low system footprint to optimize system resources and to let businesses conduct operations without disruptions.
Sniffer to search for unknown devices
The unique discovery technology is provided by smart antimalware clients installed on servers, desktop computers and mobile units (laptops) performing the proactive malware protection. A special sniffing component searches the network to detect and report new and unknown devices in the environment.
